Moms are natural worriers. They spend time worrying if their children are doing all right wherever they are at the moment, whether in school or at home, even if there is a pile of work to be done at the office. Moms will come rushing at home with just a call from the babysitter that their child is not feeling well. Most moms are not really comfortable leaving their kids with babysitters but they have to help dads earn for their kids’ futures because the days are gone when the family can survive with only dad’s salary.
A mom would definitely grab any opportunity to still be right at home where their kids are even if they are working. Moms will want to work from home where they can be right at the door waving goodbye as their kids enter the school bus and hug them when they come back from school.
Imagine playing with your kids at the local park during weekends and not rushing office reports at the office. Imagine reading your kids bedtime stories and not spending extra hours in the office doing paper works that you almost forgot is due tomorrow. Imagine making Mickey Mouse pancakes that your kids love to have for breakfast instead of drowning a bowlful of cereal with milk. Imagine cuddling at the sofa with your kids while you watch that funny cartoons instead of running through the presentation over and over again with your team. You can be all of the things that you can imagine doing with your kids and for your kids if you work from home where you can be felt as a mom.
Work from home is also convenient for single moms. Single moms have to take care of their children while working very hard to make ends meet. Oftentimes, single moms neglect their “mommy duties” because they need to earn for their kids’ education and earn to pay the bills. If moms spent too much time in the office working, they often do not witness their child grow and the relationship between them becomes distant. You may be working to ensure that they have a bright future but kids won’t really understand that. They need to feel that you love them enough to be there when they need a hug or a kiss.
More than that, moms can also have time to help the kids with their homework and read the kids a bedtime story. Nothing beats the satisfaction felt by moms when they successfully put their kids to bed. Work from home jobs take less time than office jobs. Employers only demand that you deliver your output on the deadline set and would not care if you actually spent the day sleeping as long as you find the time to do the work they pay you for. Of course, there will be repercussions if you cannot deliver but the point is you have more free time than when you work in an office.
Succeed in whatever work you do because you worked from home right where your heart is. You know that you can perform better when you know that you have given your 100% as a mom to your family.
