The internet is a good source of written pieces. They can be found anywhere and they can be about anything under the sun. Of course, articles and pages of similar themes or ideas can be found here. One thing about search engines is they filter contents that are identical and they choose the ones that are reliable to the user. They use duplicate content filters to separate unreliable ones and regard them as spam. Authors are challenged in creating unique and original articles because of the filters. In times that they can not generate new and novel ones, writers are compelled to thinking of ways to reuse content. Authors rewrite original articles in an imaginative and creative manner to be able to differentiate it with the original piece.

Authors in this kind of profession pay much heed to avoiding identical articles in the Web. Having your articles identical with other pieces in the net would mean less traffic to clients websites the writer is catering to. So authors think about different ways to reuse content. Because search engines have a way of identifying the same pieces, they will regard these pieces as spam and it will not get through their filter. These programs are called duplicate content filters that save contents in their database and when users search a particular subject, they are able to compare other contents with yours and select the most reliable article they can give the user.

I am very much concerned about this because similarity in content would mean no traffic to my websites or my clients websites. Search engines have duplicate content filters that regard pages and especially articles with identical content as spam. So, I have to be ingenious about reusing content and spinning articles. Although, reading and checking rewritten pieces over and over again can be exhausting, such effort is necessary to ensure that I dont make similar pieces because if not, I would be exposing my work to duplicate content filter and that is not what the clients would want.

It is also important that writers have a keen awareness on duplicate content filter avoidance because article distribution is not an easy job. It may seem that writing articles for websites is a pleasurable and simple task but having to generate new and original articles every time can be very exhausting. And without these novel pieces, there will be no business for authors in writing for article distribution. If they have produced a piece identical with another found in the Web, then they are not able to drive traffic to clients websites because their articles have been filtered by search engines.

The internet is a wide source of articles and finding a similar article with similar content is possible. We must find other convenient ways to reuse content for us to save time and money and assure us of the originality of each piece.
